Getting Your Design Print-Ready
To get the best results from your stickers, here's what your file needs:
File format: PDF, PNG, or AI (Adobe Illustrator)
Resolution: 300dpi or higher — this is what keeps your design sharp and crisp when printed
Colour mode: CMYK (not RGB) — RGB is for screens; CMYK is for print
Background: If your sticker has a white background you want to keep, include it in the file. For a transparent/cut-out background, use a PNG or AI file with a transparent background (not JPG)
A quick note on AI-generated designs: AI image tools like Midjourney, DALL-E, and ChatGPT are great for digital use — but the files they produce aren't usually suitable for print. They're often low resolution, RGB only, and don't meet print specifications. If your logo was created using an AI tool, it's worth recreating it in Canva or with a designer before ordering. Not sure? Drop us a message and we'll take a look.
Using Canva? Set your canvas to the exact sticker size you need, design at full size, and download as a high-quality PDF print file. Share your Canva link or upload the PDF — either works.
